About

I am currently in Providence, RI where I am embroiled in a job search. This blog probably won’t help those efforts.

And my purpose restated for easy access:

I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I find this year’s presidential election to be incredibly important. As an independent voter with few ties to my current community and no funds, I wanted to use what I have to be politically active.

I possess female anatomy and a newly acquired business jacket.

The information that is available through the press on presidential candidates is incomplete, often biased and easily manipulated. I intend to provide more accurate information on one of these candidates by citing direct, extended quotations and reading legislation written or supported by this candidate.

On an unspecified date, I will greet the streets of Providence with a polar bear brooch, bangs, make-up and poofed-up hair as Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running mate. I am not Palin’s doppleganger by any means, but I will essentially be an impersonator. When in character/costume, I will speak only words that Palin has said and read legislation, bills or other legal documents that she has officially endorsed.

I will not speak as Palin on this blog. Rather, I anticipate many challenges during this project and will chronicle those challenges and the project’s development here. Additionally, I will use this space to post as many of Palin’s speeches, debates, legislation and official communications as possible.

Let’s find out if Palin resembles the image Republicans and the media wish to create!

I strongly encourage others to pursue similar projects that track John McCain, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bob Barr, Ralph Nader and other candidates.
